chey + noah | selah springs farm wedding

GAH, I am so excited to share this wedding with y’all today!  If you’ve been around here for any length of time, you probably saw Chey + Noah’s engagement session and maybe even their winter sweetheart session last year, so you know how special these two are to me + Jason!  But if you’re new around here and don’t know how special these two are to us, let me tell you real quick:  Noah is basically like Jason’s little brother from another mother (fun fact:  Noah’s parents officiated mine + Jason’s wedding ceremony!), and quite honestly, I feel the same way about Chey!  Which just made it that much more of an honor to be able to be by their side on their wedding day, capturing moments and emotions that I hope they’ll treasure for the rest of their lives!

Chey planned every detail of their day so well (just WAIT till you see her bridal details and their sunset portraits! all. the. heart eyes!); but honestly, even if she hadn’t, this day still would have been perfect because of who these two are together, and the people they surround themselves with.  My favorite thing about this day was simply how relaxed and joyful it felt.  And that is such an accurate reflection of Chey + Noah – easygoing, lighthearted, and so genuinely full of joy.  Wherever they go, laughter seems to follow – so it’s no surprise that from start to finish, this day was one genuine smile or laugh after another, and I can’t wait to share so many of those moments today!

Enjoy my favorites from Chey + Noah’s beautiful fall wedding day!

I’m a liiiiittle obsessed with all of Chey’s details, but especially her sparkly rose gold shoes!  ALL. THE. HEART EYES!

I love how unique both of their wedding bands were!  AND that Noah’s band is actually identical to his dad’s!

Chey and I share a love for all things Kate Spade, and I’m a little obsessed with this shot of her Kate Spade earrings!

OBSESSED with this next shot!  Chey, my sweet friend, you are so beautiful!

These two were so ready to see each other by the time we made it to their first look!

Chey + Noah wrote their own vows to exchange during the ceremony, and they also wrote letters to each other to read after their first look – it made their first look that much more special!

Time for our first set of bride + groom portraits set against the mountain views at Selah Springs!

I love this next shot by my second shooter, Carissa, of the groomsmen.  (In all fairness, I’m a little biased since the best man is my husband! 😉)

Chey + Noah included time at the start of their ceremony for their parents to pray over their marriage, which was so precious!  And I just love this next shot from their prayer time.

MARRIED!

For a few minutes during cocktail hour, and again during dinner service, we snuck away for their first portraits as an actual husband + wife!

We had the softest light for their golden hour portraits during dinner (coming up next!).

GOOD GRIEF I can’t get enough of these two cuties + that gorgeous mountain view! 😍😍😍

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this next shot!

After sunset portraits, the party really got started!

Maybe it’s because I’ve had the joy of doing life beside this precious family for over a decade, and I know Toni’s heart toward her children.  Maybe its because I have my own little boy now and I can only imagine all the feels I’ll have if he chooses to share a dance with me on his wedding day.  Maybe it’s a little bit of all those things… but I was 100% crying behind my camera while I watched Noah dance with his mama.

Chey, Noah, thank you for allowing me to be part of this sweet season of your lives, as your friend and as your photographer.  Jason and I are so proud of you both, we’re so excited for you to be starting your life together as husband + wife, and we’re grateful to get to do life alongside y’all!  We love you!
