caitlin + corey | doe creek farm fall wedding

I don’t know how I’m lucky enough to have so many clients who are simply a JOY to be around, but I’m so grateful that my business has been blessed that way!  And Caitlin + Corey are certainly no exception to that – they are two of the friendliest, most genuine, and fun-loving people you’ll ever meet!  And they are each the perfect compliment to the other – that fact was SO evident on their wedding day, from the way their officiate spoke of their relationship during the ceremony, to the way their families interacted with them, and the toasts given by their maid of honor and best man.  It was obvious that these two make each other’s lives better just by being themselves, and that is such a precious trait to have in a marriage!  Not to mention, they have perfected the art of making each other (and everyone around them) laugh – there were SO many moments throughout this day, from bridal party photos to the ceremony to the reception, where spontaneous laughter broke out around these two.  I don’t know that I’ve ever photographed so many laughs during a wedding ceremony – and I loved it so much!

But instead of rambling on about it, how about I just show you what a happy day this was?!  Enjoy my favorites from Caitlin + Corey’s beautiful Doe Creek Farm wedding day!

Caitlin’s “something borrowed,” “something old,” and “something blue” was a ring her grandfather gave her grandmother (below)!

I’m a little obsessed with this black + white bridal portrait of Caitlin coming up next on the left!

Caitlin wanted to share a first look with her dad, and with her brothers, before seeing Corey for their first look!

I love her brothers’ reactions!

Then it was time to see her groom!

This next one is a fave first look shot!  Love the way Corey’s admiring his bride!

Y’all know one of my fave parts of a wedding day is bride + groom portraits!!

I LOVE shooting in the orchards at Doe Creek!

Love, love, love this next shot in black + white!

I love how well the colors of the girls’ dresses and the florals complimented each other!

Time to get MARRIED!!!

HUSBAND + WIFE!

Love that the Doe Creek staff had cocktails waiting for the new Mr + Mrs and their bridal party as soon as the ceremony ended!

It was a pretty overcast day, but thankfully there were only a few sprinkles here and there, and we were still able to go back out to the orchards for another round of bride + groom portraits before these two joined their party!

These two (and their crew) were all about the dance party, and I loveddd it!

Since the party was going to keep on going after I left, they broke out glow sticks and LED glasses for some fun party shots in lieu of an exit!

Caitlin, Corey, thank you for allowing me to be part of this season of your lives, and for trusting me to capture your wedding day!  I have absolutely loved getting to know y’all, and I love that you’re cool with us being friends beyond your wedding day!  😉
