Ohhhh, y’all.  I have done a few 1st birthday cake smash sessions (one of which was this little cutie’s birthday last year!) but this session was my very first 2nd birthday session, and I seriously could not have asked for a better one!  First of all, I knew I would enjoy working with this little cutie and her mama again, because I adored working with them for her cake smash last year!  And when Savannah told me she was thinking of doing a “tea for two” theme since this was her 2nd birthday, I got even more excited!

Just like last year, Savannah did an amazing job selecting the perfect little details to pull everything together in a way that was cohesive and pretty, but not overwhelming!  From the “tea for two” party banner and the daintiest little pair of teacups, to Hadley’s perfect little ensemble (I mean, a girl can’t go wrong with lace + pearls!), to her furry guest, Bunny – every detail just added to the magic of a little girl’s tea party and I absolutely loved being part of it!  Also, Hadley was a wonderful host – she made sure to check on Bunny’s plate and tea cup several times to make sure both stayed full!  😉

This next one is one of my top faves – I love this little moment where Hadley’s reaching for her first macaron!

Aaaaand this next one is another fave – teacup in one hand, macaron in the other, and she’s fully engaged in her little tea party (or, as she kept calling it, her birthday party! haha!).

I don’t know what we did to make her laugh like this, but it’s adorable!

Girlfriend does not like to make a mess.  She was very serious about wiping all of her crumbs off her face (or asking her mama to help do that for her!)!

This next one on the right … it’s another fave!  I love how the teacup covers half of her face when she takes a sip!  I mean, I’m just not sure how that could get any cuter.

Aaaaaand I have to end with another of my faves – love this enthusiastic Bunny hug right at the end!!  Haha!

Savannah, Andy, thank you for trusting me to capture another milestone for your little girl.  I loved every second of it!!
