Y’all, can I just say how happy it makes me that my cousins referred this sweet girl to me?! The fact that they would send one (okay, really, two – I’ll explain that in a minute!) of their friends my way for their senior session is a big deal to me, and I’m so glad I had the opportunity to work with Erika! AND, I even got to work with her best friend – and let me tell you, it was so fun getting to do a bestie session! I don’t know why more seniors don’t do this – I wish it had been a thing when I was in college, because I 100% would have done it with my besties!
But I digress.
Back to these sweet girls! They’ve known each other since they were kids, and they’ve spent years working cattle shows together. Now they live practically next door to each other, and they’re finishing up their senior year of high school together! Both of them have been inspired by their parents and plan to go into professions that are directly related to what their parents do! I can only imagine how proud that must make their parents!
Okay, okay, I know I’m rambling – so without further adieu, here are my favorites from Erika’s senior session, also featuring her bestie, Julie! 😉
We shot at the beginning of November, and a lot of the leaves had already fallen off the trees, but we did manage to find one lone tree at Heritage Park that still had all the fall colors on it, so we took full advantage of it!
Ummm, Erika, you have the most beautiful bright blue eyes, girl!
Love, love, love both of these next two shots!
We had such soft, pretty light at the very end of our session – and we made the most of it with that mountain view!
This next one on the left is my FAVE bestie shot from our session!
Erika, thank you for trusting me to capture your senior portraits – and for bringing Julie along, too! I hope you both have an amazing senior year!!
