Laura + Jonathan traveled all the way from the eastern part of Virginia to have their engagement session set against the Blue Ridge mountains, and I’ve got to say – I do believe southwest Virginia was showing off just a little bit for these two!  We had the most perfect fall weather (not too cold, but just cool enough to really feel like fall), gorgeous light that added just a little glow to every image, and even a bit of beyonce wind every now and then to catch Laura’s hair ever-so-softly at just the right moment!

Because they live on the other side of the state, we had our initial consultation through FaceTime and we only  met in person for the first time at their engagement session!  But these two are so warm and friendly that they felt like friends instantly.  Our conversation was effortless, and so were some of the sweetest moments between the two of them.  Snuggling close and being 100% in the moment with each other came so naturally to Laura + Jonathan, and it just made my job super easy (and so much fun)!  I cannot wait for y’all to see all of my favorites!!

Laura, Jonathan, thank you for inviting me into this exciting season of life with y’all (and for driving all the way to southwest Virginia for your session!).  It’s already been so much fun getting to know you and I already can’t wait to do this again on your wedding day!
