When I think about how I would describe Aya + Sam together, it’s the word “playful” that comes to my mind!  There was rarely a moment during their engagement session where they weren’t laughing and joking with each other, and I’ve got to say – it made capturing these lighthearted, joyful moments all too easy!  These two are in the midst of a demanding season of life right now – they’re both in seminary in North Carolina, and planning a wedding out of state, in Tennessee!  I know it’s got to feel overwhelming some days, but it’s you wouldn’t know it when you watch them together – they’re all smiles, all giggles, and it’s easy to see how much joy they get just from being together.

Because I’m in Virginia and they’re in Wake Forest, NC, we decided to choose a halfway point to meet for their engagement session.  The Greensboro Arboretum offered a lush, green, summery backdrop that complimented these two perfectly!  But don’t take my word for it … let me share some of my favorites with you from Aya + Sam’s session!

Aya, Sam, thank you for inviting me into this once-in-a-lifetime season with you!  I have loved getting to know you both, and I cannot WAIT to celebrate with you in December!!!
