This little family is such a treasure!  I met them through my full-time job (I helped them finance their home several years ago!) and shortly after that, they became LRP clients when they trusted me (in the infancy stage of my business, bless them!) to capture family photos right after their youngest, Elyse, was born!  That was almost three years ago, and I’ve so enjoyed having the opportunity to follow along with their family’s journey over the years thanks to social media!  Davina and I have talked about planning another session for them several times since then, but it’s just never worked out… until this year!  I was thrilled when we realized we would be able to schedule a session just a couple of weeks before they move from Virginia to Michigan!  We even had to reschedule a few times due to weather and/or sick littles, but we still managed to work it out, and I’m so glad we did!

All five of these kiddos are super sweet, and both times I’ve had the pleasure of spending an evening with them, I’ve been amazed at how much they respect and honor their parents and their siblings!  (Also, they’re all such good sports for me in front of the camera!)  As if all of that weren’t enough to make my job a breeze, Davina also comes up with the cutest ensembles for every family member, AND she manages to coordinate them perfectly as a group!  I love the mix of blue tones, peach hues, and neutrals in their outfits this year – and I adore the bits of polka dots and stripes tossed in here and there!!!  I could go on about this little family, but I know you’re not here to read my rambling!  You want to see #allthephotos!  (And I don’t blame you!)

They are such troopers – happily crossing the water over these stepping stones to get to one of our locations!

One of my favorite things about shooting at the Duck Pond is all the willow trees!  Willow branches just frame an image so beautifully!

Davina, Andy, thank you so much for the opportunity to capture your little family again!  I have so enjoyed getting to know y’all over the last few years, and I’m so, so glad we were able to squeeze a session in just before you close the Virginia chapter of your story!  I’ll be praying for the very best for y’all as you begin your new adventure in Michigan!
