We have been friends with these two for a long time!  Jason and Adam have been friends for over 5 years, and Megan and I for over 10!  She and I went to high school together, lived together while we were in college, and then we both fell in love with photography during the same season of life!  (Some of my past brides & grooms will recognize her pretty face!  Perks of having the same passion as your bestie = getting to work alongside each other on wedding days!)  She and I have grown so much together over the last 10 years, and I’m so, so grateful for her friendship!

As you might imagine when two good friends are photographers, we make it a habit of sneaking in little session swaps like this one whenever our schedules line up!  I’ll shoot Megs + Adam for a few minutes, then she’ll shoot me + Jason (and sometimes our furry Mona girl joins us!) for a few.  We chose to do this little December session swap at Heritage Park in Blacksburg – mostly because this mountain view makes a perfect winter backdrop!  (am I right??)

I’m a little obsessed with Megs’ long-sleeve maxi dress (with POCKETS!).  It looks absolutely perfect on her!
