So I have definitely been meaning to share these ever since Jen delivered them to us in SEPTEMBER! But sometimes (a lot of times) I just find myself without enough hours in the day, and here it is almost Christmas and I’m just now finding time to get these up on the blog!
If you’ve been hanging around here for any length of time, you may remember that Jason and I spent a week in lovely Savannah, Georgia back in September (check out the highlights from our trip here!) and while we were there, Jen of JB Marie Photography met us at Forsyth Park to photograph an anniversary session for us! (And her faves from our session are over on her blog, too!) I’m so glad I planned ahead (we booked Jen back in July!) and made sure we had a session while we were there, because Savannah is one of our most favorite places we’ve ever visited, and I’m so glad we have some pretty portraits to remember it by!
Without further adieu, check out my faves from our anniversary session! (eeep! it’s fun to share our own images here on the blog! haha!)
Ahh, both of these next two are faves but especially the one on the left!
And I think this next one might be my most favorite image from our whole session. <3
I wanted to go extra romantic & dressy for our second outfits, and now I’m 100% convinced that including one super fancy styled outfit in any portrait session is legit my favorite.
(p.s. what if I found this gorgeous pleated tulle skirt on poshmark for $30?!?! #WINNING)
I found this headband on amazon for about $13 and I’m SO glad I decided to get it! it’s the little details like this that can really add another layer of interest and take a session to the next level!
This black & white is another of my top faves!
I’m so glad Jen grabbed a few individual shots, too – I absolutely love this one of Jason. She captured such a natural smile (and he looks so dapper!) and it’s one of my faves from the whole session!
We did a little slow dancing & twirling in the middle of the park … 🙂
Y’all are seriously the best for following our personal adventures and celebrating life’s little blessings with us! I hope you’ve enjoyed my faves from our session – and maybe you’ve even been inspired for your next portrait session! (and if so, I’d love to hear about it in the comments! where would your dream session take place and what styling elements would you love to include?!)
