I have always enjoyed shooting maternity sessions, but now that we’re expecting a little guy of our own?  They’re even more fun.  I love getting to relate to other mamas-to-be and hearing about theirs and their husband’s story, what they’ve loved (or not loved so much! ha!) about pregnancy, and even whether they’ve got a name picked out or are waiting to see their little one’s face before making that big decision (like these two are)!

Megan and Matt met in college and have enjoyed life just the two of them for a few years, and now they are getting ready to welcome their baby girl into the world!  We had a heck of a time trying to find a location in the Loudoun area that would accommodate a session during golden hour, but I love that we ended up being able to shoot at Bluemont Vineyard, because back when these two got married, Bluemont was in the running as one of their potential wedding venues!  And I love that even though they didn’t get married here, they still got to have a big milestone in their lives documented here!

And oh my goodness, what a beautiful backdrop this place is!  Between the vines, this gorgeous European-esque stone stairway, and the long-range views from the top of the mountain, it was the perfect canvas to set these two against, and I cannot WAIT for y’all to see a few (okay, a lot) of my faves!

Love these next two, but especially this one on the right!  So, so sweet!
