Kristin + Jeremy have known each other for roughly a decade, and have been navigating the realities of a long-distance relationship for the last 6 years!  I can only imagine how ready they are for this long-distance season to come to an end, and I’m so grateful they’ve invited me to be part of this engagement and wedding season of life with them!

In the short time we spent together during their engagement session, it was easy to spot a gentleness between them that was really precious.  So much of marriage is about loving each other in the little things, and these two know how to do that – like the way Jeremy was quick to take the hand of his bride-to-be and help her navigate the wooded path and the slippery rocks that led down to the waterfall.  Or the way Kristin smoothed Jeremy’s hair for him when he didn’t even know he needed it!  I loved getting to capture these two together, and I think that the quiet, gentle romance they share is evident in their images.  So without further adieu, enjoy my faves from Kristin + Jeremy’s early spring wooded engagement session at the Falls of Dismal!

If you’ve ever been in front of my camera, you know that sometimes I say we’re done in a given location and then I have one last idea for that location and I change my mind real quick and keep us there just a little longer!  This next little spot was the result of one of those ideas – and I’m so glad Kristin + Jeremy were willing to go along with it, because I love the images we captured in this little spot!

Also, not going to lie to y’all.  I absolutely adore Kristin’s outfit!  I’m always a fan of ivory or white dresses for engagement sessions, plus I love the crocheted lace texture in her dress, and I LOVE how perfect it is paired with those cognac suede booties!!!  GAH!
