Oh, friends, are you in for a treat today!  Kimberly + Ben’s maternity session at Airlie is a STUNNER for sure, and I am so excited to get to share it with you!  These two cuties have been together for 5 years, just celebrated their first wedding anniversary in July, and are getting ready to welcome their first little one, Sawyer, in October.  Kimberly’s older sister is one of my closest friends (since high school!!!) so the fact that she and Ben would trust me to capture this sweet maternity season (and in about two months, life with their brand new baby boy!) is so special and it makes my heart so happy!!

I’ve photographed a session at Airlie once before, and absolutely fell in love with all the architectural details (hello, grand staircase!) and the gardens that this beautiful place had to offer, so I was thrilled when Kimberly told me they wanted to have their maternity session here!!  When she told me she’d picked out a baby blue dress and a classic strand of pearls to go with it, I had a sneaky suspicion theirs would be a new fave session in my book – and I was so right!!!  But the very best part is just how stinkin’ cute these two are together – quiet, romantic moments and genuine, joyful laughter came so easily to Kimberly + Ben and that’s what makes their images so special!  But I guess you’d probably like to see that for yourself, right?? 😉

I loved finding new angles to shoot from at Airlie, since this was my second time shooting there.  In case you can’t tell, I’m sort of obsessed with the grand staircase at the back of the Airlie House, and I love that we were able to get a different angle of the stairs just by pulling ourselves a little further away from them (see below!)!

We even did a little twirling in front of the stairs.  🙂

GAH!!!  This next one is one of my most favorite images of these two!  I love the joy that’s happening in this moment!

I’m also obsessed with both of these next frames!  all. the. heart eyes!!!

I’m also obsessed with Kimberly’s dress.  The ruffles, the off-the-shoulder neckline, the fit-and-flare legline and small train?!  It looked amazing on her and I can’t get enough of it!!

Kimberly, Ben, thank you for inviting me into this season of your lives and for trusting me so completely during your session (and for being SUCH troopers in the heat!)!  I can’t even tell you how much I enjoyed spending the evening with you, and I am SO looking forward to meeting little Sawyer in October!!
