Katt + Innocent are about to begin their last month as a couple, before their baby boy arrives and changes their hearts and lives forever!  And what makes his arrival even more special is that he’s due the same week as their wedding anniversary!!!  What a sweet, sweet anniversary gift they’ll be receiving this year, am I right?

Jason and I met Katt + Innocent at church and we’ve had the pleasure of getting to know them over a few Sunday dinners first, and then through being part of the same church small group over the last few weeks!   It has been so fun to get to walk through this expectant season with them, and I had the best time spending the evening with them for their session.  There is such a gentleness in the way that these two interact with each other, and it was such a joy to capture that for them in these photos.  I can only imagine the depth of the anticipation that they must be feeling in these last several weeks before baby boy arrives, but I sure do hope that the moments we captured during their maternity session will always remind them of all that this precious season has held for them. <3

I had the hardest. time. narrowing down which of their images to share on the blog, because these two just lit up the camera and it seemed like every single one of their images was a favorite!!  But I did finally narrow it down, and I’m so excited to share these with y’all!

Y’all, how gorgeous is this mama-to-be?!  I can’t even with her.

I’m a little bit obsessed with this field we were shooting in.  Is it weird that I find that tall, golden grass so pretty?!  Haha!

I’ve rarely seen Innocent without a hat (he has a fabulous collection of hats!), so I knew he would be rocking a fun hat for their session, and I loved that his hat not only coordinated perfectly with Katt’s dress, but it also says “father.” across the front.  It’s so him, and that’s what I loved about it.

Of course, we had to twirl just a little bit.  😉
