Megan has been a close friend of mine for years – we went to high school and college together.  She moved to North Carolina after we graduated from Virginia Tech, but we maintained a close friendship (that I’m so grateful for).  In the years since then, Adam has become a close friend of my husband’s.  So, when a job opening allowed Megan to move back to Blacksburg and then a romance began between her and Adam, Jason and I were thrilled!

I was honored to be part of the planning for this super special afternoon.  Megan and I are sister photogs, so she thought we were meeting at the Hahn Horticulture Gardens at Virginia Tech to take some head shots of each other for websites/blogs.  Adam was hiding, waiting to surprise her at just the right moment – and I was conveniently there, with my camera, to capture it!  ; )

It’s these precious moments right after the proposal that will just melt your heart…
