Y’all, this was SUCH A FUN brand session to shoot! And not just because this team was super fun to hang out with (even though that is 100% true). It was also fun because:
(1) it took me a little outside of my comfort zone, shooting a behind-the-scenes session for a business category I’ve never worked with before (a medical spa!);
(2) we also tacked on some coverage for their Culpeper County Chamber of Commerce Grand Opening + Ribbon Cutting Ceremony (aka I got to shoot a little party after shooting their brand session!); and
(3) I think the most fun part was that I was getting to capture a big milestone in Stephanie’s entrepreneurial journey – the opening of her very own space in downtown Culpeper!
This lady has been serving her clients in their homes and in spaces shared by other local business owners for about four years, and it’s such a big deal to be able to have a space that belongs to Wellness Revolution! And without further adieu, I think I’ll just give you a little glimpse of that space right now!
And this lovely lady is the owner of Wellness Revolution, Stephanie!
When I read through her client reviews during my research for our session, the thing I saw over and over again was that her clients appreciated just how knowledgeable she was and how she stays on top of the newest techniques and developments in her field – so we grabbed a few shots showing off her credentials!
Even though Stephanie started Wellness Revolution on her own, she found the perfect partner (in more ways than one!) in her fiancé, Jason, and he’s now an instrumental part of Wellness Revolution!
Stephanie’s also got this lovely lady, Kate, handling their social media!
We spent some time updating Stephanie’s head shots and doing some new ones for her team!

We also got to spend some time capturing what Stephanie and her team do day in and day out, and I’m so excited to share these!!
Aside from how knowledgeable she is, another thing Stephanie’s clients love about her is how comfortable she makes them feel throughout the process. She does consultations with her clients before treatments, so they can decide which treatment(s) are going to be best for them, and they know exactly what to expect from that treatment!
Stephanie offers so many services, but the one we focused on the most was micro needling with something called PRP injections afterwards. (I feel like I learned so much, and yet still know so little, about the science of what Stephanie does! Haha!)
Stephanie started by gloving up and gearing up the machine for the micro needling!
Then she prepped the client’s skin.
And finally, the treatment itself! She goes over every bit of the treatment area with the micro needling instrument! (And as an observer, I was impressed with how good she was about checking in with her client on comfort level as the treatment progressed!)
After the micro needling, Stephanie drew some blood from her client in order to use the plasma in it to create serums that can be either injected or topically applied to the skin that was treated, to help speed up recovery time. I thought it was so cool how our own plasma can be used like that to help our body heal!
Stephanie then injected one vile of this plasma mixture into the client’s skin directly, and sent her home with two viles to apply topically at home.
Another service Wellness Revolution offers is wellness + weight loss plans, and even a variety of nutrient-packed wellness treatments delivered through IV (I didn’t even know that was a thing?!) – and I was able to get a little creative with some of the images we took to represent that facet of the business!
Jason does a lot of the consults for wellness plans, so we captured a few shots of him in action explaining a BMI reading on his fancy little device there!

Stephanie had a super yummy (and pretty, and healthy!) spread for her guests to enjoy – provided by “One Board Chick.”

One of Stephanie’s friends who came to the Grand Opening also brought her a little gift – with her favorite saying (her “mantra,” if you will), and we had to grab a couple of shots with it to commemorate this milestone for her business!
Stephanie, congratulations on finally having your own space – and thank you so much for trusting me to capture this milestone for you! I had so much fun with you, Jason, and Kate, and I hope these images serve your business SO well!
