What a sweet little family session I get to share with y’all today! And this is one of those extra special family sessions, because it’s the second time Lindsey and Josh have invited me into their lives to capture sweet moments with them! I had the privilege of photographing a newborn session for them when Major’s arrival made them a family of three last spring, and I was so honored when Lindsey reached out to me about booking a family session this year! I loved getting to catch up with Lindsey and Josh, and getting to see how much Major has grown! It’s crazy how much can change in just one year!
I also loved getting to capture a little glimpse of what this season of life looks like for them! This little guy is on the move all. the. time. Which meant that I was bound to catch plenty of authentic, real-life moments (aka my favorite kinds). He’s also a bit of a ham, and even at only one year old, he already loves making people laugh! From beginning to end, I so enjoyed spending the evening with them and I’m so excited to share a few of my favorite images with y’all!
Love how Major is looking over at his mama in this next shot on the left… so cute!
Look how much he has grown already!!
Umm, the cuteness:
No question where he gets those blue eyes and that blonde hair from, am I right?! so stinking’ cute!
I had found this field with tall grass and rolling hills and trees in the background, and they were such good sports about venturing right out into the field for me! And I’d say it was 100% worth it!
I love taking a few minutes to shoot just mom & dad together, since it all started with the two of them! (Thank goodness for grandmas who come along just to be on one-year-old duty for a few minutes here and there!)
This next black & white on the left has to be one of my top favorites! I love it so much.
We ended by pulling out the bubbles Lindsey had packed with them … and now I can’t think of any better way to end a family session! (for real though.)
Lindsey, Josh, thank you so much for spending the evening with me! I had so much fun catching up with you and I hope these images will always remind you of the sweetest parts of this season of your lives. 🙂
