I am SO excited to share this sweet little newborn session with y’all today!! I met Lindsey through the Rising Tide Society, which is a community for business owners in various creative industries. Lindsey is a fellow creative entrepreneur, and she offers branding and web design services (check her out if you’re a business owner and your branding or website needs a refresh!). We met a few times at our local Tuesday’s Together monthly meetings, and Lindsey helped me update the LRP logo last fall, so I was thrilled and so honored when she reached out to me about doing a newborn session for her and her husband, Scott!
From the moment I showed up at their house, Lindsey and Scott (and baby H!) were just a dream. Lindsey and Scott were both so welcoming and our conversation came so easily that it almost felt like I was just there to visit with them! Haha! When the time came for me to point the camera their direction, they were naturals. They held each other close and admired their sweet baby girl and told me how it still felt surreal to know that they were actually parents!! I can only imagine how intimidating that must be, but these two made it look easy. I so enjoyed spending the afternoon with them, and I cannot wait another minute to share my faves with you!!!
I love their giraffe nursery! Lindsey purchased one of the giraffe wall canvases years ago and held onto it just so that she could use it in her nursery one day!
Love this next shot of Lindsey and her little girl!
And I also love this next black + white – FAVE!
Love this next one on the left of Baby H in daddy’s arms! So sweet!
This next one is another fave! Lindsey, you’re so pretty!!!
After we finished the lifestyle part of our session, once Baby H was sound asleep, we wrapped her up in a few snuggly newborn wraps and took her baby-only photos!
Love her little hint of a smile in this next shot on the left!
I love getting nice and close to those little baby fingers and toes! So precious!
Baby H slept SO good that we even had time to re-swaddle her in a second wrap and take another set of baby-only photos!
Lindsey, Scott, thank you for inviting me into your home (and your lives) during this precious season. I absolutely loved spending the afternoon with you, and I’m so honored that I got to capture these moments for you!
