I’ve known Melissa for over 10 years (which is crazy!) – I remember when she was pregnant with Emma and can’t believe that was 8+ years ago! (I swear, Melissa prayed Emma’s red hair into existence – she was adamant throughout the pregnancy that she wanted a little girl with red hair, and that is just what she got!) Since I moved to Blacksburg, time has flown by and I don’t know that I had seen Melissa at all over the last 7-8 years, until she reached out to me this summer about doing a family session! And I’m so glad were were able to work it out, because it was so great to catch up with Melissa and I had so much fun getting to know Emma and Lacey! They were a little skeptical of me at first, but I’m so glad they came out of their shells and let their personalities shine through by the time our session was over!
